Itinerary: Tashkent – Khiva – Bukhara – Samarkand – Tashkent
Day 1. Arrival in Tashkent
- Arrival in Tashkent. Meet your driver and transfer to the hotel. Breakfast at hotel. Normal check-in time is at 14:00 pm, so you can leave your luggage with the hotel reception and go out to explore Tashkent – the capital of Uzbekistan. Check-in at the hotel after the sightseeing program.
- Sightseeing tour in Tashkent: Visit the Old City part of Tashkent with the Khast-Imam Complex where the world-famous and authentic Quran of the 8th century has been preserved. This Complex offers us a visit to the Madrasah of Barak-Khan, Tilla Sheikh Mosque, the Mausoleum of the Saint Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi, and the Islamic Institute of Imam al-Bukhari.
- Visit Chorsu Bazar and the metro of Tashkent.
- Break for Lunch
- Visit the city center with Amir Temur Square, Independence Square, and Applied Arts Museum.
- Free time. Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 2. Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva
- Morning flight to Urgench departing at 7:00 am (1093 km, 1 h 30 min).
- Arrival in Urgench at 8:30. Transfer to the hotel in Khiva (30 km, 35 min).
- Khiva sightseeing tour: Visit Ichan-Qala Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Fortress offers us a visit to Kunya-Ark, Sayeed Alauddin Mausoleum, Arab-Mukhamadkhan Madrasah, Oq-Masjid Mosque, Madrasah of Hodjan Berdi-biya, Shirgazikhan Madrasah, Abdullakhan Madrasah, Juma Mosque, Allakulikhan Madrasah, Tosh-Khovli Palace, Pakhlavan Makhmud Mausoleum, Minaret of Islom-Khoja.
- Free time. Overnight in Khiva.
Day 3. Khiva – Bukhara
- Breakfast.
- Drive to Bukhara through Kizil Kum desert (475 km, 6-7 hours).
- Note: The transfer can be changed by train and takes the same hours as the car transfer.
- Arrival at Bukhara and hotel accommodation.
- Time to freshen up and enjoy the old parts of Bukhara.
- Overnight in Bukhara.
Day 4. Bukhara
- Breakfast at hotel
- Bukhara Sightseeing Tour: Visit to Ismail Samani and Chashma-Ayub mausoleums. Then visit to Bolo-Khauz Mosque and Ark Fortress.
- Break for lunch.
- Continuation of exploring of Lyabi Khauz Ensemble, Magoki-Attori Mosque, trade domes, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri-Arab Madrasah.
- Free time to enjoy the monuments on your own.
- In the evening, you will enjoy a delicious dinner at the Nadir Divan-Begi madrasah with a national show.
- Overnight in Bukhara
Day 5. Bukhara – Samarkand
- Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
- Start the sightseeing program in the surrounding monuments of Bukhara. Visit to Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa – a summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir and unique site combining Oriental and Russian architecture, then to the Mausoleum of Bakhauddin Naqshbandi.
- Break for lunch.
- 14:45 – Afternoon transfer to the train station for the train to Samarkand (470 km, 5 hours)
- Arrive in Samarkand and check in at the hotel.
- Free time to enjoy the wonders of Samarkand on your own.
- Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 6. Samarkand
- Breakfast at hotel
- 9:00 – Start Samarkand Sightseeing Tour to Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis, Bibi Khanum Mosque, Siab Bazaar and dazzling Registan Square.
- Break for lunch
- Continue your visit to Ulugbek Observatory, Afrasiab Museum, and Gur Emir Mausoleum.
Day 7. Samarkand – Tashkent
- Breakfast at the hotel & check-out,
- Free time till the departure of the train.
- 16:30 – Transfer to the railway station to take the high-speed Afrosiyob train departing at 17:30 (300 km, 2 hours)
- 19:40 – Arrival in Tashkent.
- Pick-up and transfer to the hotel.
Day 8. Tashkent – Departure
