Renting Camping Gears in Bishkek
There is only one gear-renting agency in Bishkek city, but there are plenty of shops selling outdoor gears.
- Trekking Union of Kyrgyzstan ( TUK ) rents trekking gears, sells trekking maps, and ski equipment. They can give handy info and recommendations on one-day hikes around Bishkek city. They also do group tours for day hikes around Bishkek. Check their www.tuk.kg for fixed one-day group tours.
- Gerger Sport. They sell mountain bikes and outdoor gears. They have several shops across the city. Check their www.gergert.kg to see what you can purchase.
- Red Fox. It has a good shop in Bishkek. You can almost find all the outdoor gears for a trek. Also, it sells ski equipment. Check their www.redfox.kg
Renting Camping Gears in Karakol city
- Destination Karakol is the locally based tourist info office. Besides arranging treks, they also rent trekking gears. Visit their website: http://redfox.kg/
- Eco-Trek. You can rent tour equipment. They also arrange trekking in the region. Visit them at http://www.ecotrek.kg

Renting a Camping gear in Osh city
You can rent the following camping gears from CBT Osh Tourist Information Office in Osh city. CBT Osh office is the only place where you can rent some camping gears for trekking. You can also find some equipment at local bazaars like Kelechel bazaars. You can find a good sleeping bag and mats. It is also possible to find a big heavyweight tent.

Rental Policies of Renting a Camping gear, Tour Equipment, Hiking tools in Kyrgzystan
Start Date
Your start date is the day you pick up your equipment.
Return Date
This is the day you must either drop your gear off with us by our office.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness
Don’t forget, all gear must be clean (meaning not full of dirt) and dry (meaning dry). If you don’t return gear clean and dry, we will charge you an additional fee. Mold and mildew can do a lot of damage and we don’t want to charge you for it.
Inspection of Equipment:
Please, upon receiving the equipment check and do a proper examination. To make sure everything is in good condition. Then the rented equipment be accepted.
Don’t be Late
Would be good if you send your gear back on time. If for some reason this doesn’t happen, we will charge you a daily fee. This adds up pretty quickly and we don’t want you to be surprised by it.
Damaged Gear
If rental items are damaged, torn, stained and missing parts, burn holes, and dents. Then we will charge a fee for fixing or replacing. Just treat the gear like you own it and there shouldn’t be any problem.
Lost or Stolen Gear
When you rent, it is your responsibility to get it back to us. If we don’t get it back, we will need to charge you.
Reserving Gear
Please reserve your gear as far in advance as possible. We will run out of some items during our busy times.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel one week in advance of your pick-up date, we have a “go in peace” policy…..no charge.
