Drive to the south shore of Karakul Lake up to the starting point of the hike, 10 minutes. Trek starts at about 4150m altitude. The first half of the hike is in grassy meadows. The second half is on rocky ground. In the grassy area, you can see wild sheep ram’s horns. In the rocky area, you see plenty of fresh hoof prints, but it is difficult to actual animal. Reach the pass and celebrate you accomplishment at 5000m. After the summit, descend to the car. Continue to driving to Murgab village, 3 hrs.
