Discover the rich history of Osh

Welcome to Osh, a destination shaped for millennia by its location at the crossroads of Central Asia. Residents of the Fergana Valley have welcomed travelers for centuries, sharing a genuine and open friendliness that defines Osh to this day. You see, Osh is more than simply a city filled with culture, food, and history. It’s a place where residents enjoy their lives and are eager to engage with neighbors and visitors alike.

Modern Osh is inextricably linked to its long history as a pivotal trading route through Central Asia, and its sacred Sulaiman-Too mountain marking the half-way point on a Silk Road route between China and Europe. Although the fascinating petroglyphs at Sulaiman-Too Mountain date the settlement to the Bronze Age, the city truly gained renown as an oasis of welcome and exchange along the Great Silk Road.

You need legally permit to visit Lenin Peak Base Camp. The processing of permit takes 3 to 7 days. Sometimes it takes more days. That is why it is better to make it as early as possible.

The check point that checks the permits will open up about 10 days on the main road once a year. After 10 days, they remove the post. No permit checking on other months and days. It is not a check point like on the way to Kel Suu Lake which stays there 27/7 whole year. So, you can try to reach Lenin Peak Base Camp without permit if you don’t have time. However, we recommend taking it if your time allows.

Our office makes it for 40 USD. We make it in Bishkek city. It can be cheaper if you make it through Bishkek offices.

Yes, we have yurts camp from Osh city.

You can stay in our camps and explore the authentic nomadic culture.
