Our Mission

Visit Alay has been promoting tourism in Central Asia since 2008. We began our work as a small travel agency offering adventure tours in Alay Mountains of southern Kyrgyzstan. Starting from 2014, we expanded our operations beyond Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Today, we run adventure and cultural tours across Central Asia. Our mission is to promote Central Asia as a leading tourist destination in the world. We strongly believe Central Asia has a big tourism potential and can be a main sector of our economy by creating thousands of jobs.

Our Core Values

Community Based Tourism

We believe that involving locals in tourism will alleviate poverty. We train and support locals to make income from tourism. They offer yurt camps, luggage horses, guiding, and taxi services. In 2022, Visit Alay granted 25000 USD to it’s camp provider’s to improve the infrastructure of yurt camps. Almost 300 locals got involved in tourism during summer time.

Stay Local

We want our guests to get the best local experience by staying at homestays and at authentic yurt camps, getting a local food, talking to local guides. We see that sometimes travelers travel far from a local culture. We want you stay close to local life and explore the local traditions and customs of Central Asian people.

Grouping Travelers

Traveling is not always cheap, but joining a group reduces the cost. Our staff is there to help you to join our group tours to share the costs. Our guests often finds it easy and beneficial. By being in a group, you will learn a lot from other fellow travelers. Join one of our groups and leave us with long lasting memories.

Nature Care

What make us unique is our nature and traditions. A climate change is affecting our planet. We can’t stay at the side and look how our nature is undermining. So, we have chosen a green tourism path to be in a good harmony with our planet.
